The first GameBiz workshop was held in Utrecht at the end of May. The workshop is hosted by Dutch Game Garden in collaboration with HKU Games and Interaction.
Teachers and coordinators from all participating schools and universities are participating to learn from each other’s experiences.
The programme was a combination of lessons learned, practical tips and visits to game startups and studios in the Netherlands. Participants had a tour of Dutch Game Garden and as well as HKU’s School of Games & Interaction and Centre of Expertise & Entrepreneurship.
Workshops, presentations and sessions included aspects such as how to organise student teams, incubation, team dynamics, entrepreneurship, coaching and company growth.
